Electrolysis
What
is electrolysis and why can’t I just “laser” my eyebrows?
Due to the strength of the laser and potentially harmful
damage to the eye area, Lifetime Laser does not treat the
eye area of the face with any laser treatment.
Instead, Lifetime Laser recommends a series of treatments
called Electrolysis for the eye area. Using this method,
hairs are permanently removed and shaped leaving you with
beautiful maintenance free eyebrows!
Electrolysis is the process of slowly burning the hair
follicle until it is destroyed. It’s similar to laser, but
on a much smaller scale. It’s specifically targeted, meaning
that each hair follicle is individually treated one at a
time to achieve a “shaped” look. Laser is used for larger
areas when no “shaping” is required. Electrolysis, is a
slower process than laser hair removal, meaning that each
hair follicle is individually treated, so it will take
numerous treatments to achieve your desired results.
Most clients at Lifetime Laser find that with an aggressive
treatment such as, once a week for 20 minutes, hairs stop
growing back within a year. Maintenance is recommended to
keep a fresh and shaped look. The lasting effects are truly
amazing!
Something to think about-
Have you ever looked at your eyebrows in your car mirror on
a sunny day and gasped at the sight of those tiny dark hairs
that somehow sneak up in-between waxing or tweezing? There
are even some on your chin or neck! With aggressive and
consistent treatment at Lifetime Laser, those hairs can be
removed permanently. The next time you pull down that mirror
you can have complete confidence that Lifetime Laser has
your eyebrows, chin and neck covered!
